Indianapolis Colts

As you can assume, I'm very dissappointed. My Indianapolis Colts lost in their first game in the playoffs. I was really rooting for them and hoping that they'd win. I wanted my Colts to be the team to go up against the Patriots and hopefully end their winning streak.

I hate that this season, we had a lot of injured players. I think that is what did it for us. Even though we had injured players, the players that weren't did do a great job.

Congratulations to Bob Sanders for winning Defensive Player of the Year.

Next week, I'll be rooting for the San Diego chargers to beat the Patriots. If Patriots are able to pull it off next week, I'm hoping for them to go up against Green Bay in the Super Bowl and get their butts whipped.

Go Green Bay!!!!

About Me

This year I said it's going to be all about me. Is that being selfish? I don't think so when all other years I've put my needs aside and made sure that everyone else was taken care of. Will this be easy? No. Now I'll have to still take care of everyone else while trying to fulfill my own needs.

What's on my "me" list for 2008?

1.) write and finish a christian fiction novel.
2.) enroll and start on my bachelor's degree double majoring in Mathematics and Business Administration.
3.) loose the extra weight that I've been carrying for 12 years .
4.) start taking business workshops to get a better understanding of the steps to take to start my bookstore.

I know that's a mighty tall list but these are thing I have been wanting to do for a couple of years now and I have not lost interest in them.

It's going to take discipline to get these done but I believe through the strength that God gives me, I can do it. I pray that I continually walk in the ways of God and that he will continually guide me. For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philipians 4:13.

My Getting the Life I Deserve Pledge

My Getting The Life I Deserve Pledge

This is my year to be the woman I’ve always wanted to be. This year I will put myself first. Starting January 1, 2008, I will focus on taking the steps to achieve my goals. Ever since a couple of years ago, I’ve known that I want to write a book and open a bookstore.

This is my year to achieve four goals:
1. Business workshops at NSI for starting bookstore
2. Start & complete Christian fiction novel
3. Enroll for school
4. Loose weight

Negative factors, real and imagined, will no longer be obstacles to my success. To get over obesity, I will stop letting food control me. To get over felling I’m not good enough, I will pray that God will continue to show me through his word that I can do all things through Him. To get over procrastination, I will plan to make a to do list, have it posted, cross things off after completing.

I know that I will be successful because it is my dream to be an author, get a college degree, loose weight, and start my own business.

To stay on track, I will have my friend check in on my progress every month and hold me accountable.

This is my personal 2008 pledge to myself so that I can realize my dreams and live the wonderful life I fully deserve!
